"Nuovo progetto per Kyle MacLachlan? L’attore, attualmente nel cast di "Desperate Husewives" non parteciperà al prossimo sequel di "Sex and the City" come qualcuno aveva ipotizzato ma è deciso a far risorgere la serie che lo fece conoscere in tutto il mondo, "Twin Peaks". Secondo Contactmusic , MacLachlan vorrebbe creare una miniserie web basata (o sequel?) sulla serie cult in cui impersonava l’agente speciale Dale Cooper . Il creatore dello show, David Lynch, non sarebbe però coivolto nel progetto perchè troppo occupato nella meditazione trascendentale. Seguiremo gli sviluppi."
Al Twin Peaks via web dovrebbe però prendere parte Mark Frost (co-creatore e sceneggiatore) così come è teoricamente disponibile tutto il vecchio cast, ad eccezione di Jack Nance (Pete) morto nel 1996.
Inoltre afferma anche:
"MACLachlan is desperate to reprise his role once again and hopes to utilise the web to help fulfil his ambition of a return to Twin Peaks.
He says, "I have a crazy idea to bring back Twin Peaks on the net as five minute webisodes."
But the star admits the show's creator, David Lynch, won't be involved with the new version as he is too busy focusing on his initiatives to publicise meditation techniques.
MACLachlan adds, "David's focus is more on transcendental meditation now.""
